Breathing Air Filters - Preassembled Options=Activated carbon filter\, pressure regulator\, pressure gauge\, distribution manifold
Compressed air may be used for breathing only after it has been correctly treated. It may not contain any contaminants such as moisture, solid particles, oil or oil vapours, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrous oxide or hydrocarbons. Carbon monoxide is particularly dangerous as even in minute quantities it quickly causes disorientation and incapacity.

Positive pressure breathing air is particularly useful in many applications including:

- Ultramax breathing air systems uses multiple stage treatment to obtain air to a suitable quality for breathing
- Pre-filtering removes fluid droplets, dust, dirt, rust, oil and other particles larger than 1μm.
- Secondary filtering to remove particles and aerosols down to 0.01μm.
- Final adsorption filtering through activated carbon providing absolutely clean air for breathing purposes.
